Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like unto a treasure hid in a field, that when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. Imagine yourself finding a treasure out hiking in the Red Rocks. When you wipe away the dust you find a jewel or crystal worth a great deal. What do you do? How do you remain honest and avoid doing something unethical? There are times in our lives when we are all tempted to take something that doesn't belong to us and it seems easy to do what we a tempted to do without thinking of the repercussions. Obtaining valuable things in life by borderline and questionable means doesn't work. Quick money making schemes, pyramid money making schemes, using someone to get their money when we are too lazy or unwilling to work for it on our own doesn't work either. Cheating the Universe never works. We end up cheating ourselves of something valuable and important that we truly want. Peace of mind, harmony, prosperity and even friendships. If friends and business acquaintances find out we have lied or tried to take advantage of them they soon lose interest in being our friends or business acquaintances. Each time you come to the place in the road where you could become tempted to make a decision based on material advantage alone, think it over carefully. Apply your knowledge of Universal Laws Is this a win-win situation where both parties will benefit? Consider what is truly of value in this life. It's your character, your integrity. If you do this you will create true and lasting wealth. Keep working on your own self mastery- don't try to convince others as this can become a form of co-dependence. Get yourself in a solid position both in your life and in your understanding for then you will truly be able to help others. |
