Begin each day with a spiritual practice of some kind - meditate, water the garden, take a walk, center yourself and allow your spiritual teachers to speak to you.
Ground yourself in the energies of Gaia. Feel her loving, supportive, nurturing presence. See the divinity, the light all around you. Bask in the expansive love and oneness.
Then take a step, a small step toward that which you desire. Talk to someone you desire to be friends with and get to know, step out of your comfort zone and meet new people. Try a new skill. Venture into new territory.
Each day repeat the process. Spiiritual practice, grounding yourself into the Earth, seeing divinity, light, feel love, oneness and take another small step.
Do this each day for 30 days. You will begin to create new synapses in your brain, develop confidence in relating to others, and re-master your fears, phobias and self-created walls of protection.
In your willingness to risk, try new behaviors and reach for what you desire, the Universe will respond in loving, supportive ways. You will find others who do want to help-who have similar interests and even develop new friendships.
You will strengthen your resolve, build new supportive pathways inside and outside of yourself.
The greatest challenge for spiritual people is feeling alone, isolated and that no one understands you. It is the very nature of your Spirit journey to provide this. It has been the greatest obstacle for any spiritual being and has kept many from the enlightenment, ascension, nirvana, etc.
This is because you reach the place in your journey where there is nothing to hold on to. No familiar feelings, no landmarks, no sense of belonging to anyone or anything.
You've come home to your own self and no one else is there. Then you get scared and want to go back to be with others so that you are not alone anymore.
If you aren't conscious, you might even create relationships to distract you from this peaceful place. These relationships are usually chaotic, disruptive and unbalanced because this is what needs to be purged in you. The peace, harmony and solitude are so potent, so powerful and can take you to the depths of your stored anger, grief and unforgiveness of self and others. Learning to allow these stored energies to purge and release from ourselves is not something we've been taught or shown.
Allowing them to well up-bubble up and release can sometimes feel scary for those who haven't been taught to express their emotions. Freely releasing our heartfelt emotions is a new experience for many of us. Fear, anger, sadness and grief don't always express themselves in ways we understand.
Learning the language of our emtions and learning the language of another's emotions is a process throughout our life. By loving ourselves and our emotions we can learn to love others and their emotions and we can take the leap from fear to faith, from anger to love, from grief to joy, from confusion to clarity and from where we are now to where we most want to be.
