With all the wonderful rain we've experienced lately we are blessed to see grass beginning to grow in our front yard. The neigborhood bunnies have been over to check on it. In Spring and Summer it is their favorite breakfast and diner spot. Birds have been singing again and on sunny afternoons the neighbors are sunning themselves and hanging out their laundry to dry.
I took one sunny afternoon to clear away the debris from winter, dead branches, plants that did not survive the cold and snow this year, and miscellaneous trash that found its way into various parts of the garden. Amongst the unusual finds was a golf ball that looks brand new. Where this treasure came from I can hardly imagine as we do not live anywhere near a golf course and none of the people who live near us golf.
You can feel the warmth and energy returning as the sun warms the days. An artist friend of my shared that she feels inspired to paint again. I feel ready to plan and prepare the soil for the garden.
I took advantage of the sunshine today and ate lunch outside at the local health food store. With the luxury of a day off, no immediate crises happening to anyone or the planet, and a chance to relax and enjoy life....a lost art.
With Spring and the arrival of visitors from others states, ordination of new ministers, and lots of new changes things are fun and interesting.
Our Valentine's Party was one of the best ever with Ron Ayers music, roses, chocolates, balloons, a new minister ordination and an opportunity to vote for the funniest, most creative and most likely to succeed members in Church.
After all the fun we watched David Sereda's DVD Mona Lisa's Secret.
In February the Church was gifted with Glenda Green's painting of Jesus and the Lambs. It has become our new altar.
Thank you to Lee Jaklik and Dea Brasgalla for this amazing gift to the Church.
We are truly blessed!!!
Happy Spring,

1) Growing desire to be in Nature
2) Growing discomfort- old beliefs are beginning to shatter as you are being stretched
3) Growing sense of lonliness-(???This is good???) Personal growth is often a solo journey.
4) New skills are emerging that you didn't know you had. Recognizing natural skills that you took for granted in the past.
5) New relationship with time. Enjoying it, being in the moment instead of the past or the future.
6) No longer crave your old bad habits. No desire to do that which has a negative effect on your being.
7) New sense of SELF responsibility. Taking care of yourself so that depression and exhaustion are a thing of the past.
8) Growing awareness of purpose. You find yourself thinking about your service to humanity more and more often.
9) More understanding of past events. You feel that everything that happened in the past is OK. It's meaning and purpose helped you to get where you are today.
10) Growing awareness of inner manifestation. Investing your energy in inner changes that produce outer results.

1) BE IMPECCABLE WITH YOUR WORD. Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself of gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.
2) DON'T TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY. Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering.
3) DON'T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS. Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With this one agreement you can completely transform your life.
4) ALWAYS DO YOUR BEST. Your best is going to change from moment to moment. It will be different when you are tired as opposed to well rested. Under any circumstance simply do your best and you will avoid self judgement, self abuse and regret.
5) BE SKEPTICAL BUT LEARN TO LISTEN. Don't believe yourself or anybody else. Use the power of doubt to question everything your hear. Is it really the truth? Listen to the intent behind the words, and you will understand the real message.
